About Devorah Medwin
“What surprised me was being “met” where I was!” I didn’t even know what that meant
until I was “met” by Devorah. So simple, but the benefits - deep and ongoing.“
Care, Coaching, and Preparation from the pile of papers, to the question of “What am I doing with my life?” Practical and existential Life Cycle issues of Emotional Fitness and End of Life Care. Certifications & Degrees, which together with real life experience, make up Devorah’s body of knowledge:
Devorah has over thirty years of experience supporting individuals, couples, family and corporate clients with practical wisdom and actionable plans designed for your specific needs.
A two time cancer survivor and three time primary caregiver, she knows the tools and tips from the inside out. Devorah was already an educator on illness, dying and emotional fitness, and while her knowledge didn’t make all the hard stuff magically go away, it did help diminish the unnecessary suffering significantly, and markedly increase the windows of calm and compassion.
“By age 15, I felt like I was 50, but now, at 57, I am stronger, healthier, and more flexible physically and emotionally than ever! Would I wish I had learned the gifts of illness some other way? You bet, but from it, I gained so much, and developed a method to help us navigate life, and end of life, with the utmost of care, and effectiveness.”
I use all these tools and trainings to help people discover and develop emotional fitness and use it to become our fullest selves.
To create a personal sense of centered calm and contentment.
I offer support and coaching to get complete and in compliance with necessary conversations and paperwork, including a DNR, advance Directive, Power Attorney, living will, etc.
I hold generous listening, in all areas, including the sometimes taboo subject of death and dying, grief, and sadness.
And help clients develop and strengthen a healthy relationship with their mortality, which helps us learn to be in the present moment. The greatest gift, illness or no illness.
And I offer gentle guidance, coaching and training to develop a personalized program of daily and long term self care. Because the care of ourselves turns out to be a great way to care for everyone else.
